Forcing the use of https with Matomo

Context

Depending on the type of hosting you choose to set up your Matomo On-Premise instance, it may be more or less easy to force the use of https. In any case, it is possible to do this at the Matomo configuration level.

Forcing SSL with Matomo

Place this line in the config/config.inc.php file:

force_ssl = 1
