If you are not careful to explicitly exclude certain user agents, you can very quickly end up with volumes of statistics that are more or less biased.
I suggest you add a blacklist to all the websites you are going to track with Matomo. Go to Admin, Websites then Settings. In the Global list of user agents to exclude field, enter :
/bot|spider|crawl|scanner|Headless/i
